About Cowtown Segway Adventures & Tours
Cowtown Segway is owned by Tim Ballard, an native of Arlington, just 15 minutes from downtown Fort Worth. Tim has worked in Fort Worth for the past 20 years and loves it with all of his heart. He took over as Operations Manager on September 1, 2015 and took over ownership on January 29, 2016.
It all started when he didn’t get a position with a large medical device company after 3 1/2 months and 12 interviews. Discouraged, his girlfriend’s mother invited him on a Segway Tour. He had a great time and the tour guide told him she thought he’d be great at this and asked if he’d like to help them out while interviewing. Next thing Tim knew, he was hooked!
