Who can ride the Segway ® PT?
Although riding a Segway HT is relatively easy, insurance does require that all riders be at least 16 years of age (an adult or guardian must accompany children under 18). Also, riders should have the ability to make motions such as climbing and descending stairs without assistance. The Segway HT is not appropriate for those weighing under 100 pounds or over 250 pounds.

Tours run rain or shine. But don't worry! Some of our best tours have taken place in less-than-perfect weather! Just remember to bring a poncho, not an umbrella, as you will need both hands to operate the Segway.

The majority of your time will be on the Segway. We will start off with a short training session and then be on the Segway for the remainder of the time. There are no stops unless the tour group would like to stop and rest or take pictures.

We have the ability to transport necessary items i.e. cameras, medications, etc. All other personal belongs will be kept in the meeting location. Cowtown Segway is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

This machine utilizes new technology called LeanSteer which allows the rider to lean in the direction he/she would like to turn. The Segway keys have also been updated to include wireless capability.
